Yes. On the Own it plan we transfer the files, the deployment, and every login to you at handover. There's no licence, no lock-in, and nothing recurring. If you want to move it elsewhere or hire someone else to change it later, nothing stops you.
You buy the domain in your own name, usually $10–$20 a year depending on the ending you choose. It's paid to the registrar, not to us, and it stays yours whatever happens with the site. We just connect it.
Yes, in either direction. Plenty of people buy on Own it, run the site themselves for a while, then decide they'd rather hand it back — we'll pick it up from wherever it is and move you onto a monthly plan. Going the other way, if you're on a monthly plan and want to buy the site outright and leave, email us and we'll work out the difference.
You give notice and we stop billing at the end of that month. We'll hand over an export of the site and your domain stays yours either way. You'll need somewhere to host it from there — we'll point you at the free options and help you move it across.
On Own it, it's half up front and half at launch, so you're never paying for work you haven't seen. On Build & care, the $599 is split the same way and the $80 monthly begins once the site is live. On All-in monthly, there's nothing to pay until launch, then $169 on the same date each month. Invoices and receipts come from billing@angelsite.org — send anything payment-related there, and everything else to contact@angelsite.org.
Card, through Stripe. Once we've agreed what we're building, we send you either a secure payment link or an invoice — you pay it online and get an automatic receipt. Monthly plans set up a recurring card payment at the same time, which you can cancel whenever you like. We never see or hold your card details, and we don't take payment before scope is agreed.
Typically two to three weeks from the point we have your content — text, photos, logo. The slowest part is almost always waiting on material from your side, so the sooner that arrives, the sooner it's live.
Changing text, swapping photos, updating prices or hours, adding a new item to a list. Building an entirely new page or a new feature is bigger than an update, so we'll quote that separately — it won't quietly appear on your bill.
We'll always edit and tighten what you send. If you'd rather we write it from scratch, we can do that too — mention it when we first talk and we'll fold it into the quote. Either way the raw material has to start with you, since you're the one who knows the business.
